Today 122 young medical doctors, citizens of 19 countries from all over the world, have obtained diplomas of higher education in Medicine. 20 young medical doctors graduate with honors. The medical doctors of Class 2025 have pronounced the Physician’s Pledge, with which they declare their moral obligation to community.
The Rector of Medical University-Pleven prof. dr. Dobromir Dimitrov addressed the Class 2025 international medical doctors with the greeting words: „Dear young colleagues,
I am sure that being the new generation of medical doctors in this difficult period of human history marked with pandemic, wars and economic and political crisis, has made you more responsible, mature and determined people and professionals. On 9 May - Europe Day - when we celebrate peace and unity, I wish that we will remember your graduation ceremony with two words with special meaning today. The first is the word TOGETHER. Because, today you graduate in front of the proud eyes of international guests and families from all over the world. The second most special word is the word PEACE – let us pray, hope and work for peace in Europe and in the whole world. Congratulations, young medical doctors! Try to make a difference in the communities you will serve! May each of you have a satisfying medical career with many thankful patients! Good luck!“
