On February 13, 2026, Medical University – Pleven will officially open the 2025/2026 academic year for its newly admitted international students in the English-language programs in Medicine and Nursing.
Before the start of classes, students will participate in a comprehensive two-week orientation program designed to ensure a smooth transition into university life. The program includes campus tours, introductions to digital learning platforms, library open days, cultural visits around Pleven, and a beginner Bulgarian language course — all aimed at helping students feel confident and at home from day one.
The official opening ceremony, held in Jubilee Hall, will bring together the University leadership, representatives of the Student Council, and the International Students Association to warmly welcome the newest members of our academic community.
