General information
The qualification specification is an integral part of the curriculum for distance learning in the speciality "Public Health and Health Management" at the Faculty of Public Health, Medical University-Pleven.
It defines the professional qualifications of graduates in the speciality.
The current qualification specification outlines the requirements for professional training, functions, and opportunities for the professional realisation of the Master's in Public Health and Health Management.
Professional competence and functions
The curriculum of the speciality is characterised by an interdisciplinary.
It is structured in such a way that the disciplines included in it provide a broad spectrum of knowledge on the issues studied.
The curriculum developed is adapted for the training not only of persons with a master's degree in medicine, but also for master's degree holders in dentistry, pharmacy, economics, law, sociology, etc. The master's program is open to all those who wish to build new knowledge and skills in the field of public health and health management, and combine them with their main speciality to work in various institutions related to public health.
Admission requirements:
The program is designed for students who have acquired the Educational and qualification degree “Master” in medicine or other specialities at the Medical University - Pleven or other universities in Bulgaria.
For candidates with a master's degree from a country other than Bulgaria, a validation of the diploma is required. More information:

Application fee: 80 euros
Yearly tuition fee - payable in two equal parts at the beginning of each semester – 2000 euros

Admission Procedure
Admission is based on an online interview in Social Medicine and Health Management.
