In the work process of the Student Office (SO), the functions of SO are distributed according to the organization of the learning process for the students in Nursing and Midwifery fields of study, while coordinated and harmonized with the objectives of the Faculty of Health Care.

The staff offices are located on the territory of the Medical University - Pleven, Rectorate building 2, 3^rd Floor. Room No. 325 and Room No. 326.

The Student Office (SO) at the Faculty of Health Care is an auxiliary administrative structure under the direct supervision of the Dean of the Faculty of Health Care while also coordinating its activities with the Office of Education at MU-Pleven. SO conducts all its activities in compliance with the legal requirements, stipulated in law for the organization of higher education while pursuing the following objectives:

• Organization of the learning process in the Faculty of Health Care
• Providing administrative service for the students in the Faculty of Health Care
• Filing and storing all documentation involved in the process of learning, as well as data archiving and unification

• Organizing and carrying out the student admission campaign at the Faculty of Health Care while coordinating it with the campaigns carried out in the other main units of the University
• Complete and through organization of the learning process – from the enlistment of the newly-admitted students up until the day of their graduation
• In conformity with the psychological requirements for communication, SO aims to help the students solve problems of different nature in the course of the learning process.
• Conducting surveys in order to improve the quality of education
• Preparing learning documentation (syllabuses, exam schedules and protocols, student records, filling in student books, etc.); reporting the results is in accordance with the Ordinance for unified state requirements
• Observing and regulating the timely and thorough completion of the learning and examination documentation by the university lecturers
• Preparing and issuing student status references, academic transcripts, certificates, diplomas and diploma duplicates as well as other administrative documents
• Cooperation in solving problems with current student status before the Heads of Departments and other leading university structures in accordance with the Regulations for organizing and conducting the educational process at Medical University – Pleven;
• Summarizing statistical data for students and lecturers and presenting it before institutions exterior to the Medical University - Pleven
• Under the direct supervision of the Dean of the Faculty of Health Care, SO coordinates its functions with the governing bodies of the departments within the structure of the Faculty of Health Care
